The trauma center will offer both a Level 1 Adult Trauma Unit and a Pediatric Trauma. The Level I means that a designated trauma team will be in the hospital 24 hours a day, ready to respond to the most serious injuries. With an estimated three medical helicopters, we'll be able to transport critically injured and ill patients to receive the advanced care they need regardless if they're in rural areas.
